Dear HoneyCombs Hive,

April is here, and I’m honestly so happy about it. This month always feels like the year is finally waking up. Longer days, warmer air, and that first stretch of sunshine that makes you want to open every window in the house, even if it’s still a little too chilly.

April is also one of my favorite months for personal reasons. It holds some of the sweetest celebrations in my little world. My husband’s birthday, and our anniversary. It’s a month that always seems to come with reminders of how lucky I am, and I hope your April is filled with love, laughter, and at least a few moments that feel like a deep breath after a long winter.

Now, onto bookish business.

On April 15th, I’ll be joining the brand-new Libreria Books Bookstore in Newton, NC for a Book Launch Party and Signing for THE FORSAKEN CROWN!

I’m incredibly excited, and honestly a little honored, to be part of something so special for a new bookstore. There is something magical about being surrounded by shelves that still smell like fresh wood and new pages. It feels like the start of a new chapter for everyone involved. If you’re nearby, please stop in, grab a treat, listen to a reading, and hang out with me for a while. I’d love to see you there.

Libreria Books officially opens its doors on April 10th, and if you’re local, I would love to encourage you to stop in and show them some support. Independent bookstores are so important to the reading community, and it means the world to see a new one opening right here. If you can, please shop local, spread the word, and help keep spaces like this thriving.

And as promised, I have attached a little snippet featuring Reddick and Robbie, voiced by Sean Chaussee and my son LC. It is not fully polished by my engineer yet, but it should give you a solid taste of what’s coming with THE HOUSES OF GLASS & NIGHT audiobook. Hearing these characters come to life has been surreal in the best way, and I cannot wait for you all to experience the finished version.

I’ll be heading back into full tour mode from May-November with Front Paige Media, starting with OMB in Charlotte, NC. More details are coming soon.
